The last day of school

Today was the last day of school and we had to say good bye to our friends and teachers. When I said my good byes I gave my teacher a prize for being the best teacher ever. My teachers name is mrs king  she is cool she gives us goodies and my friends names are me,Makayla,daisy and jorelle there the best also.

What I learnt about artwork was how to do big strokes. I can learn my own artistics talents by working by my self so I don't talk to them. My hardest part of my artwork was painting the small bits.

The best part of my painting was getting to paint other colours on it. Next time I paint i know what I can do to improve I have to not talk to my friend.

My year reflection

What did I enjoy? The thing I enjoyed about my iPad was making movies.

What did I not enjoy? The thing I didn'nt like on my iPad was waiting for the internet.

What new things have I learnt? The new things I have learnt on iPad was to put stories on our blogs.

How do I feel about my year in 2014? The feeling of this to me was exited.

What was the most interesting thing we did? The most interesting thing we did on our iPad was making new movies.

How can I learn better in 2015? I can do better by working on my own and to use my key Competencies.

Able Tasman

Able Tasman is located in the north end of South island. It is in between golden bay and Tasman bay. Able Tasman was named after a famous European man was who the first man to see a beautiful So then he named it New Zealand and then he anchored at golden bay.

       

Mitre peak

Mitre peak is  a prominent  peak at the bottom of Te whai pounamu in Fjord National Park.It was named after a Biships hat it is just like a triangle,it is in South Island.Mitre Peak rises out of the water and is 2000m tall.

Wellington

Welington the capital of New Zealand, located at the south of Noth Island. The ferry of Wellington going through the Cookstrait to picton. Wellington is surrounded by hills.

The Welington earthquakes happens freaquently. Their is three fualt lines which means their is a weakness in the earth crust. Earthquakes happens the Wellington buildings 

They are made of wood.

Cape reinga

Cape reinga is the most northern point in New Zealand it is a beautiful place to explore. 

located at the top of Te Ika a Maui, Cape reinga is 500km from Auckland City. From the

Lighthouse you can see the white sands and dunes of 90 mile beach.

Explanation about test

Have your breakfast 

Have a good sleep

I am going to explan to you what do you have to be ready for an important test.

To be ready for an important test you have to have a good breakfast for a good test. For a important test you always have to have a nice breakfast if you want to pass  your important test and you have to eat a heathy breakfast. If you eat a good breakfast you will have a happy day and will pass your important test.

If you have a good sleep before school it will help you pass your test and won't be disappointed. When you have good sleep before school you will have energy. When you have heaps of sleep you will have a nice day and can stay happy.

This is what you to do to be ready for a important test.

Superhero Reflection

We have been learning to be creative, use our key competencies, work hard to overcome challenges and help others to be able to share our best. We have written a story and made a MTV to demonstrate this learning. This is a reflection all about my cool learning. I am Amazing!

My favourite movie was Justus,Javan and faioso's. The reason why that movie was so good was because it has a lot of details. The best part of my movie was of when miss King was flexing her muscles. The best thing about my group was when we shared our ideas. My movie could have been better if I put more creative ideas and did different thing then everyone else.
 Key Competencies: I demonstrated self management by working quit. I demonstrated thinking when I said I said to daisy to write on the white bord. demonstrated participation by working hard and I've did. I demonstrated relating to others when I have video people for there movie. My movie was creative and exciting because we have done a little bit of different then others.

A Topic sentence is a first sentence in a paragraph. It tells your audience what your paragraph is all about. Inthis activity I have found the topic sentence and put the other sentences in order.

Why is it impotent to eat healthy food

Eating healthy food can make you strong and helps you run fast. It is impotent to eat h eathy so you can learn and live. If you don't eat healthy you might get sick. 

Your food goes into your mouth and our saliva,teeth and tongue helps to chew our food. After you chewd your food it goes into your osophagus down to your stomach and gets mushed in our acid. Your small intestine mushs your food into liquid.

When you eat the wrong food you get tired or un happy if you eat the right food nothing we'll happen. Healthy food can give you a lot of energy and healthy brain. Eating healthy can make you happy.

If you eat an healthy foodyou  might get fat and you can't learn. Eating an healthy food can make you tired. If you don't eat the right food you'll be sick.

Being nice

Today we did a class activity where we all had to think of something nice to say about each other. We had a pice of paper cello-taped to our backs and we went around writing nice thing about our class mates.

Science in a van

Last week on Thursday we went to Science in a van and we saw 2 scientists. The 2 Scienctists are named Emily and Alan. They showed as a lot of experiments and they were all amazing. My favourite was when Emily swiped the black sheet and nothing fell off the table. 

It was cool when Ana was pumping the air into the rocket with Alan. Steve the Chicken was on a string and he was tied on to the L&P bottle. It was funny when Alan was blowing the balloon and gave Emily the balloon and the balloon was'nt  tied up and she gave it to a little kid. Thanks to science in a van we now how to do experiments.

Fighter jet

Zooming above the clouds the pilot was scared. Lifting the wings it made the jet fly. The jet was flying turbo fast like surpersonic speed it made a whoosh  sound.

Samoan language week

This morning at assembly pt England saw heaps of Samoan people we sang the Samoan nation anthem. At assembly tamaki college performed and my cousin was in that group. Are assembly was cool because we saw lots of performers one was from pt England. At assembly we did a per and it was exciting but I loved the performers. I liked are assembly. Fly experiment

Purpose:Yesterday morning class12 tested the rocket. We tried to make the rocket fly.

Materials: one rocket and a blue handle,one rubber band.

Method: We put the rocket into the rubber band and pull the blue handle back and we realesed the rocket for it to fly.

Observations:when it sarted to fly the rocket couldn't go as fast as it could because gravity was pulling it down.

Conclusion: from this experiment where energy comes from is its first portenteil energys power comes from us.

Dependent and independent clauses

We have been learning all about independent and dependent clauses in complex sentences.
This complex sentence that I have written uses a dependent and independent clause. A dependent clause, needs extra detail so that it can complete the sentence, whereas an independent sentence could actually make a sentence on its own.

Here is my sentence:
I have highlighted the dependent clause yellow and the independent clause red.
While we were practicing swimming, Awathan nearly drowned.

Top schools

On a hot sunny day,kids from lots of local schools injoed the event - Top Schools at Churchill Park school

My favourite event was the slip and slide because we got to slide down a very soapy and slippery slide to the grass below.

Throwing the ball in the hoop was tricky, so we didn't get many goals.

I also enjoyed the husky run because I got to stand on the back of the sled. My job was to grab the bags and bring them back to my team. 

At the end we had prize giving. Only the year 5/6 team got a medal, they came third. Sadly the year 3/4 team didn't get a medal.

I had an awesomed day at Top Schools.

I want to explain why we have hats.

What is a hat? What do we use it for?

A hat is something that you where on your head

Why is it important that we wear hats when outdoors?

 There are several reasons for this. 

The hat is important because it protects you from the sun

The main reason is 

We where hats because the sun don't get in our eyes

 

 

Another reason is 

Our  hat protect you from rain

 

 

A further reason is 

Hats proects you from the sun so you don't get sunburn 

 

 

So now you can see why

 Our hat makes you have shad on you face
