Top schools

On a hot sunny day,kids from lots of local schools injoed the event - Top Schools at Churchill Park school

My favourite event was the slip and slide because we got to slide down a very soapy and slippery slide to the grass below.

Throwing the ball in the hoop was tricky, so we didn't get many goals.

I also enjoyed the husky run because I got to stand on the back of the sled. My job was to grab the bags and bring them back to my team. 

At the end we had prize giving. Only the year 5/6 team got a medal, they came third. Sadly the year 3/4 team didn't get a medal.

I had an awesomed day at Top Schools. 

The picinc

Quickly we made our way then made our way down to the beach to go for a swim. under the summer sun kids giggled and laughed in the river.jumping into the water and splashed our teacher.

My favorite book

I love my book because Katie Jean is a drama queen and she taiks about her ugly brother

Hats

I want to explain why we have hats.

What is a hat? What do we use it for?

A hat is something that you where on your head

Why is it important that we wear hats when outdoors?

 There are several reasons for this. 

The hat is important because it protects you from the sun

The main reason is 

We where hats because the sun don't get in our eyes

 

 

Another reason is 

Our  hat protect you from rain

 

 

A further reason is 

Hats proects you from the sun so you don't get sunburn 

 

 

So now you can see why

 Our hat makes you have shad on you face
