week two/ summer learning journey

Activity 1 week 2

Once you have read these phrases you will be ready to leave the airport and head to your hotel. Take a moment and imagine how you might feel if you were standing in the airport in a foreign country and you had to figure out how to communicate with people in a brand new language. Would you be scared? Would you feel confident? Write a short poem that describes how you might be feeling (i.e. excited, happy, scared, nervous, etc).
Poem:
getting out of the airport in this beautiful country I feel dehydrated I should have a cup of tea. do I say kon'nichiwa? oh i'm so excited and nervous at the same time let me think about it while I have a lie. it took me a while to say hello in Japanese well now I can watch the view from the beach and go to the beach.

Week one summer learning journey

Hi everyone sorry I haven't been posting lately its because I've been busy with a lot of stuff and now for week 1 I am going to post it all in one post and now here it goes.

Activity one (week one) After you have read the quick facts about each place you must choose ONE country that you would like to ‘visit.’ On your blog post the name of the country and tell us why you have chosen to visit it. Please give, at least, two reasons for choosing the country:

A place I would like to visit is japan and that is because My cousin went their with her friends and she said it was so amazing and also I saw some photos of her enjoying her holiday. Also they have so much money that if you compere New Zealand's money to theirs that not even as much as one hundred dollars.

Activity 2 (week one):On Google, research the country that you have chosen to visit and write, in your own words, three interesting facts about that country. They must be facts that weren’t already provided on the World Map:

A fact that I searched up on google is that in July 2012 Japan had over 127 million people staying their and that came a tenth population in the whole entire world. also I found out that in japan how they say japan in Japanese is "Nihon" or "Nippon" meaning " sun origins".

bonus activity ( week one):
Write a letter to a friend or family member to tell them that you are going to visit your country of choice. In your letter, please tell them where you are going, why you have decided to go to the particular country and how long you will be away. Feel free to invite them to join you, if you’d like! :
