The last day of school for 2016

Hello Again Today was probably the most saddest day of the year because I had to say goodbye to the best school, teachers and friends. Today was also sad Because The yr 8 people were leaving it was so sad that this was the last time seeing them because they were crying because they did not want to leave this beautiful. I did not want to leave either but we had to I also cried because My home room teacher was leaving and because I will not see my friends until 2017.

Task description: This Is My Ambassador Application For next year. I have really tried to put all of My effort in to this movie/presentation. Why I did this is because I want to be an Ambassador next year and because I think that I am confident and fun so I can talk about my learning in a fun way.

MOTAT adventure

Getting off the bus Me and Jorelle are busting to go toilet we ask the teacher and run straight down. Coming out of the toilet “where’s our class” we look everywhere and we still can’t find them we looked in the gaming room, the village and still did not find them. We started to panic we checked in the toilets and no students.

As the time passed we saw the students getting on the bus we run as fast as are legs could go. We ran and ran but we missed the bus. Stuck at Motat. Looking around Me and Jorelle were wondering what to do next.  We were panicking and panicking and didn’t know what to do.

We ran to the gaming room and BOOM! The lights turned off. They were screaming and they didn’t know were each other were. Running around to see where they were jorelle falls and faints on the ground. “Oh No”.“Naomi Naomi Get up and get ready for school or your gonna be late” Said My Mum “What where am I aren’t I at motat?” I replied. “That was a dream” Mum said and I replied “  Oh”.

Task description: This is a fake story about My crazy adventure at M.o.t.a.t we could pick any of our friends or teachers to be alone and stay the night there. Why we did this is because we had to write an adventure but in a full narrative.

Dad was leading the way as Anna and him Hiked up the mountain. Looking down they couldn’t believe how far they have traveled to get up that steep mountain. As they climbed they see a dark big cave with a lot of grass around it. What would be inside?

Tuesday Science day

Hello again this post is from now but I actually finished it on Tuesday so it was from team 4's science day.

Walt: use onomatopoeia in our writing.

BOOM!!  Black canary hits the big orange giant. ZOOM!! Green arrow comes in with a lot of new arrows., “ hey Black Canary want to see my new arrows” Green arrow said, “ the last time you had new arrows you almost blew up the whole city and nearly killed us” black canary said.

“Nearly i am going to try them thanks” green arrow said. whack!! The helium arrow, mightiest arrow, ooze arrow, magnetic arrow, bug-size arrow but that one did not work out as planned he turned tiny then with a blink of an eye he turned bigger than ever. “sorry “ green arrow said, Bang!!! Wrecking ball arrow. POW!! Smashing the big oranges bricks black canary was mad at green arrow.

The last arrow was the best one ever the got to go arrow. “Green arrow” black canary said with a angry voice. THE END

Task description: what I did was I had to listen to my teacher miss ayton to know what I was going to do. The next thing was to do another presentation it was a comic book presentation. then I had to do this writing with speech, onomatopoeia and story that is like how many sentences I am going to do.

my camp experience

Walt: make connections across a wide range of texts.

2 weeks ago it was camp I was so excited. All of the people in year 5 and 6 went on camp, We slept outside in tents it was so cool seeing everybody participate in what we were doing.

I was with the whole team 4. What we did was we did heaps of cool activities, when we did it we did it in three days. Where we slept was outside in our tents, why we did it was i think to get along with other people.

My favorite activity was top town. What top town is it’s activities all together the first in top town we tried to fill up tiny water balloons at the taps, there is a whole bunch more activities. Who I did top town with was with my team the kinda crazies and   another team the kinda nators.

My 2nd favourite activity was  baking. We were baking chocolate chip cookies, the teacher that was supervising us was mrs Garden she was helping us measure. Baking was cool getting to cook and eat it was so yummy.

From all the good times we had at camp the last activity was swimming at papakura  wave pools. After that we came back to school,got our bags from our tents and came to the hall. When we arrived to the hall we watched pac man and waited for our parents to come pick us up

little red riding wolf

walt: what i did was to write a story and retell it

Far far away in a mysterious land where wolves can talk and chat  there lived a wolf called little red riding wolf Little red (for short),she had a amazing red patch of fur and little red tiny boots . Little red loved hanging out with her  sweet old grandma. A few minutes later mamma wolf told Little red “ Dear your grandma is very sick would you mind walking to her house to give her these bones” Little Red replied “ Yes mum I would love to see my sweet old granny”.

So then she went walking into the windie forest and saw the big bad girl. Little red was frighted and told where she was going So she didn't get eaten, so then she ran backwards and lost the big bad girl. But surprisingly the big bad girl got to grandmas cave first and locked grandma in a cage. The big bad girl dressed up as grandma with a fur coat.

Little red arrived at grandma cave and noticed something was wrong and said “granny what small eyes you have”   “all the better not to see” granny replied “what small ears you have” all the better not hear “ she replied. Then suddenly the big bad girl's dad came in the cave and saw his daughter. Little red riding wolf ran for her life and never saw the big bad girl again.

After the big bad girl got caught she got grounded for going off into the woods by herself. After little red went off she forgot about her granny so she went back and saved her granny. So little red lived happily ever after

Once upon a time there a girl called Memory and a boy called jake and they were brother and sister. They were at school doing their maths and it was nearly home time. They were both fighting and had to stay after school in detention.

The both of them were screaming at each other loud that the earth cracked into two parts.The class split in two parts Memory was on the right and jake on the left they were so worried they forgot why they were even fighting about.
